Night Shot over looking the town of Agua Calientes from Gringo Bill's Hotel

I decided to stay in the town of Aguas Calientes since its the closet town to majestic Machu Picchu. I wanted to beat the crowds coming from Cusco to Machu Picchu to get photos with no people and also wanted to do the Hyana Picchu hike that only 400 people a day get permission to do. Trust me, if you really want the entire Machu Picchu experience spend at least 3 days in Agua Calientes or more if you can. The people are wonderful here and its a really small town where everyone knows each other. I stayed at Gringo Bills hotel and was extremely happy with my decision. The rooms are clean and you feel really safe and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here: www.GringoBills.com
